Powered by KB-Whisper (Swedish National Library) and NB-Whisper (Norwegian National Library) — models fine-tuned on 50,000+ hours of Nordic speech. 47% fewer errors than generic speech recognition, all running locally on your machine. Swedish can also use Pianissimo from Klang AI on the Mac's Neural Engine and on Windows on Snapdragon — the model is downloaded once (608 MB) and runs fully on your device.

Your voice never touches disk
Live dictation audio stays in memory — captured, transcribed, and discarded without ever being written to disk.
Offline after setup
An initial download fetches the open-source transcription model. After that, local mode makes zero network requests — fully offline, fully private.
No telemetry or tracking
No analytics, no usage tracking, no data collection of any kind. The app doesn't phone home.
Only 3 permissions
Microphone (to hear you), Accessibility (to paste text), and Input Monitoring (for the global hotkey). That's it. No Full Disk Access, no Location, no Camera.

What's new in 1.4.3
A bug-fix release. The first dictation after launch now pastes into the app you're dictating into, Ctrl-C cleanly cancels file transcription in the command line, and a profile's model switches to the recommended one (with a notice) if you change the profile's language. On Macs, F14 and F15 now come with a warning: they control screen brightness.
